e.tv South Africa’s Largest Independent Television Channel

After the success installing State of the Art Seamless Video wall for e.tv’s Johannesburg studio, e.tv were so impressed with the quality and service they asked Elport to install another 6m x 2m Seamless Video wall using our 1.2mm micro pitch LED Screen.

This is powered by 6 x Nova MTCR600LEd controllers and the brand new power processor VF2000 Videow3 all processor. The screen takes pride of place as the centrepiece to the brand new studios in Cape Town South Africa.

IAAF World Championships 2017

The Championships were held at the London Stadium in Stratford, London, which hosted the 2012 Summer Olympics, and has a capacity of 60,000.

Six days before the events were due to begin, it was reported that more than 660,000 tickets had been sold, which was a new record for the World Championships, surpassing the previous record of 417,156 tickets sold for Berlin 2009.

This set needed to allow for various camera positions and set changes. The set would also be used every day as the main BBC presentation set during this event period.

The lighting system within the set construction are LED DMX Flex, Flexible LED strip product and control, designed and manufactured by Elport. This fully integrated system allows full flexibility of the lighting control for all the required production elements with the ability to adapt all colours and levels at the touch of a button.
