BBC Sport 2018 European Championships Set Design – Glasgow

BBC Sport required a studio set that would be used for the 2018 European Championships studio over the duration of this major sporting event.

This set needed to allow for various camera positions and set changes. The set would also be used every day as the main BBC breakfast presentation set during this event period.

The lighting system within the set construction are DMX Flex, Flexible LED strip product and control, designed and manufactured by Elport. This fully integrated system allows full flexibility of the lighting control for all the required production elements with the ability to adapt all colours and levels at the touch of a button.

BBC Sport required a series of studio and ancillary area sets that would be used for the London Olympic Games studio set over the duration of this major sporting event.

TRT World is a 24-hour international English-language multimedia news organisation based in Istanbul, Turkey. It provides news and current affairs on television and online (including on mobile).

TV studio set installation of specialist bespoke DMX LED Sculptures, powered by the Elport DMX power/Data processor controller plus 10 various size professional monitors and control by Crestron.

BBC Sport required a series of studio and ancillary area sets that would be used for the main Commonwealth Games presentation over the duration of this major sporting event.

These sets needed to allow for various camera positions, set changes and guest and band introductions throughout the busy sporting days, this would need to be a simple solution with as little physical set alteration between the shows as possible. The main presentation set would also be used every day as the main BBC breakfast presentation set during this event period.
